Big Muddy BBQ

When my brother-in-law came to me with an idea for a logo he needed, I was very excited.  I truly enjoy  helping friends and family design whatever they need.  My brother-in-law and his friends are competing at the Great Lenexa BBQ Battle in Lenexa, KS.  If you happen to be in the KC area June 22 & 23, swing by the Big Muddy BBQ tent and enjoy some great barbecue!

It's a boy!

Our good friends, the Whitmore's, just had their fourth baby boy.  He was a big boy weighing in at 9 lbs. 13 oz.!  This is the second baby of the Whitmore's I have had the pleasure of photographing.  Such a great family.

Camping in Yellowstone

This past week we drove up to Yellowstone and camped with a group of friends.  It was the most fun kind of camping trip I have ever experienced.  Growing up, when we camped, it was a lot of hanging out and playing in the nearby lake. We would spend lots of time at the campsite not doing much of anything.  This trip was filled with lots of hiking and site seeing. We were always exhausted by the end of each day but were even more excited for what the next day would bring. As a family, we love the outdoors. Even our one year old daughter is happiest playing outside usually in the dirt. So needless to say, we loved every minute of Yellowstone. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone who has the opportunity, even if you aren't the typical camper. It was definitely, for us at least, a once in a lifetime experience. My husband and I decided when we had children we weren't going to send Christmas cards.  Sounds weird, I know.  We decided, instead, to send St. Patrick's day cards. This is our first year actually making one since our daughter was born only a month before St. Patrick's day last year.  As far as we can tell, its been a hit!
